Self-Rescue® Infant

Self-Rescue® Toddler

Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) is a scientifically-proven, individualized swimming and safety program designed to teach infants and toddlers the critical skills they need to survive in an aquatic environment. ISR focuses on self-rescue techniques, empowering children as young as six months old to roll onto their back, float, and breathe - skills that will save their lives in an emergency situation.

Accidental drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury-related death for children under four, making water safety a critical priority. Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) equips children with life-saving self-rescue skills, including breath control, floating, and swimming, reducing the risk of drowning. Every ISR lesson is customized to a child’s age and ability, ensuring they learn at their own pace while building confidence and independence in the water.

With decades of proven success, ISR has helped hundreds of thousands of families protect their children, providing parents with peace of mind. By focusing on preparation, skill mastery, and real-world application, ISR sets the industry standard for effective drowning prevention. When your child knows how to float and self-rescue, you can breathe easy knowing they have the essential skills to survive and thrive in aquatic environments.

Meet Your Instructor

Brittany Hall is thrilled to bring Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) to the Nashville community! Her passion for the water began in infancy, and grew to becoming a competitive swimmer at age seven. Her 11-year aquatic career included state-level achievements, training with the US Women’s Olympic Water Polo Team, and an opportunity to compete at the Junior Olympics for Water Polo. Currently, Brittany swims with the Nashville Aquatic Club Masters Team and competes in local triathlons.

Prior to getting involved with ISR, Brittany obtained Bachelor's degrees in Business and Spanish from the University of San Diego. After college, she enjoyed a 12-year hospitality career where she discovered her passion for serving others. In 2020, after two years in Nashville, she pursued her desire to serve her local community, beginning with obtaining her real estate license. When introduced to ISR, she immediately recognized the crucial difference between traditional swim lessons and teaching self-rescue skills; becoming passionate about empowering children to be safe in and around the water.

Outside of the pool and real estate, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Derek, hiking Tennessee's gorgeous trails, and spending time with their cats - Henry (16), Elliott, and Olivia (9 months).  She looks forward to learning more about you and your family and cannot wait to help your little ones become successful aquatic problem solvers!
